How we are preparing students for the jobs

We are preparing our students for jobs in various ways, namely practical training for
course taken in the Univeristy. Our approach for training is most practical, in each
course real world problems are simulated to solve as an exercise. Each and every
theme in the courses are dealt or solved with exercise and problems related to
practical business management problems.
There are continuous assessment tests in
every two weeks, and also students are assigned to prepare mini-projects in individuals
and in groups and make presentations in front of the classes. Class attendances are
recorded and closely controlled.
Mid-term and final examinations rationally reflect the
content of the courses taken and question papers are strictly are marked to ensure that
those who do not study will not pass.

When dealing with practical aspects of course themes, examples and exercise relevant to
puntland and Somali situation are presented and solved in order enhance student
understanding and familiarity.

Students are sent to work for internship to business companies in Bosaso so as to gain
valuable practical job experience and to expose them to practical work situations.

Business companies are approached and requested to advertise vacant jobs
and take competitive exams so the learned and best students will acquire the jobs.
